20 Percent Project: Week 7

Hey guys ever since we got into this 20 Percent Project we have not had fun in a while it was fun when it lasted but now we are just bored with it and honestly it sucks.  Now our team will only consist of Steven, Antonio, and I.  We will now attempt to make designs for T shirts and actually show them off by wearing them and even try to promote them to any minor companies.  Our designs will anything from funny to whatever we want.  Steven and Antonio will be working on their own designs while I will be working on funny or whatever type of designs I feel like doing.  I really do like the funny T shirts that you would see in Swamp meets or in other small stores.  So for now on this will be our new 20 Percent Project.

20 Percent Project: Post Five

On Saturday, November 2, 2013, we went to John Marshall Park for the first time to actually clean up the park for once.  Our experience for the first time wasn't so bad then what we all thought we would do.  In reality it was pretty easy and self rewarding after words.  We spent almost an hour and a half of just picking up trash.  The first way we picked up trash was by piling up all the trash into one pile and then putting it into trash bags with our gloves.  When picking up trash we did have random people looking at us with a weird look because we were the only ones picking up trash.  Once we filled up the trash bags we had them put in the garbage cans and they were taken to the dump on Sunday by the trash pickups.  All in all we did have fun and we will continue this next week.

20 Percent Project: Introduction

When hearing about this new project the first thing I thought was, "Aww man we have more work for this class."  Later as I started to learn about this project I found out that this would be fun.  As every week he started to talk about it I started to get very interested.  We work on the project every Wednesday and as we kept working on it I sat down with three of my friends Antonio Pech, Steven Rivera and Jesus Ramirez.  After discussing over what we will do for the 20 Percent Project we just decided that since we all live near John Marshall Park we just decided that we will try to keep the park clean from trash.  Every Saturday we will be at the park cleaning it for an hour or two we will also be recording the data and posting before and after pictures of what the park used to be and how we will help it.
